創始於台灣中部地區 以薰衣草香草 植栽為名的花園農場休閒景點。
除了以薰衣草為主的各式加工品，也有香草料理的餐飲、森林咖啡館與紀念品商店等，推廣香草植物栽種入菜，讓遊客欣賞香草植物與暸解這些植物的用處，寓教於樂中，帶動了香草文化與休閒產業，倡導保護環境生態理念，為旅遊注入清新不絕的活水。
Lavender Forest
It is a recreation area that is famous for its lavender farm. Except the products of lavender, it also has vanilla cuisine, forest café and souvenir shop. 高美野生動物保護區(高美濕地)
臺灣西海岸一處生態保護區，位於臺中市清水區西側，包括大甲溪出海口，綜合淡水注水與潮汐交替所構成的海岸溼地。其前身原為海水浴場，自從臺中港北岸沙堤築起後，大甲溪挾帶泥沙於此，逐漸淤積成漂飛砂地帶，成為現今所見「高美溼地」。在保護區南北兩處有清水大排與大甲溪注入淡水，並以雲林莞草、大安水蓑衣兩種瀕危植物生長最受關注。
Gaomei Wetland
Gaomei Wetland is on the west coast of Ecological Protected Area. It is in the west of Qingshui Dist., Taichung City. Includes Dajia River estuary. Integrated both tide and fresh water into the wetland. The predecessor was Gaomei beach. Since northern Taichung port has bulit the levee, Daja river carry along the send to here, it became a sand drift area, which is the way Gaomei wetland was formed. In the Ecological protected area, there are two sources of the fresh water to Gaomei wetland and there are two of the endangered species that are Bolboschoenus planieulmis and Da-Ann Hygrophila. They are the most concerned botanical issue in Gaomei wetland.
