 阿里山包車自由行
位於台灣嘉義縣阿里山鄉，行政區上劃分為中山村(東南部)、中正村(中部)、香林村(西北部)三個村，是由林務局規劃與管理的一座國家森林遊樂區。
阿里山並不是一座山的名稱，只是特定範圍的統稱，正確說法應是「阿里山區」，地理上屬於阿里山山脈主山脈的一部份，東鄰玉山山脈，北接雪山山脈（註：其中最高峰為塔山，標高2,663公尺）。
阿里山自然景觀極為豐富，日出、雲海、晚霞、神木與鐵道（阿里山森林鐵路）並列為「阿里山五奇」，而「阿里雲海」更被列為名勝台灣八景之一。
2001年交通部觀光局規劃成立阿里山國家風景區，其範圍除涵蓋原有的阿里山國家森林遊樂區之外，並擴大至阿里山鄉、梅山鄉、竹崎鄉和番路鄉的其他風景區，但阿里山國家森林遊樂區及阿里山森林鐵路主管機關為林務局持續營運管理。
Alishan
Alishan locates in Alishan Township, Chiayi County, it divided into three section,
which are Zhongshan Village, Zhongzheng Village and Xianglin Village. It is a Forest
Recreation Area that managed by Forestry Bureau. Alishan is not a name of a
mountain, it’s just a name of a range area, Alishan is more like a district. Its
geographical belongs a part of Jade main mount range. In the east part, it is next to the
jade mountain range and in the north part, it relates to Hsueshan Range. Alishan, the
incredibly wet weather contributes to an outstanding forest climate and landscape
with an Alishan sunrise, a sea of clouds, an afterglow, a forest, and railways. These
five famous sights are known internationally. The Ali sea of clouds was listed in top 8
scenery in Taiwan. In 2001, Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and
communications Republic of China not only establishes Alishan National scenic area
but also expanded the range to Alishan Township, Meishan Township, Zhuqi
Township, Fanlu Township and other scenic area. But it is still operated by Forestry Bureau.
